Chairperson's Message

Dear Parents, Teachers and Students of HKUGAC,

Welcome back to a new school year at the College!

I am very glad, and with great honour, to have been elected as the Chairperson of the HKUGA College Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) for the year 2011- 2012.

First of all, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all the devoted Standing Committee Members, parents and student volunteers for their full support and selfless contribution in making the PTA activities in the past year a great success. This fully signifies their care and concern towards the school.

On behalf of the PTA Standing Committee, I would also like to extend my appreciation to all the members of the Incorporated Management Committee and the HKUGA Education Foundation for their most valued advice and continuous support to the PTA.

This year, for the first time since the inauguration of the school, we have students from S1 through S6. This year, we also have an expanded PTA Standing Committee. The number of parent Standing Committee Members has been increased from 7 to 14. With a bigger team, we hope we will communicate more effectively with you all and promote better home-school cooperation.

Last but not the least, we would like to call on your continuous support and active participation, without which, the PTA activities will never be fully accomplished. Your views and comments are always most welcome.
