Join a function group

The HKUGAC PTA has 6 function groups, each of which has coordinators who are responsible for planning and carrying out the related activities.

Activities Group

To provide support on logistics, preparing refreshment, maintaining order,
To liaise with Form Representations and Class Representatives to enhance the link with parents and to help them organise form and class activities

 

Community Service Gruop

To respond to the needs of the community on a vluntary basis
To provide a learning experience for parents, teachers and students
To encourage active participation in community services bringing benefits to the community

 

Parent Education Group

To help parents understand the development and changing needs of our children
To help parenst understand and face our new challenges in parenting
To build up channels for sharing and mutual support among parents areas covered by the group

 

Parent Interests Group

To promote the well-being of and the friendship among parents
To organise one-off or regular sharing or learning sessions with focus on the interests for parents

 

Promotion Group

To provide support to promoting the school to the public
To manage the PTA Website
To publish the PTA Newsletters

 

Student Welfare Group

To provide support to the school in student welfare:

Communicate with the school about student welfare issues with focus on student needs and service quality
Monitor continuously the quality of service providers
