Pursuant to the Education Ordinance, the PTA being a parent-teacher association recognised by the Incorporated Management Committee ("IMC") of the School, is required to nominate a Parent Manager and an Alternate Parent Manager to fill the vacancy in the IMC. Parent Manager is a parent and, at the same time, one of the Managers of the IMC which manages the School and promotes education in the School.
The PTA shall conduct the election of Parent Managers for nomination for registration as a manager in the IMC. The date for the election of Parent Managers may be fixed on the same day of the AGM or other date as the Standing Committee may deem fit.
